Following news of a successful prosecution of Anglian Water by the EA concerning a series of pollution offences, it has come to light that someone within the company deliberately tried to cover up the problem. With self-regulation plans being discussed the ACA continues to argue that water companies cannot be trusted to monitor and report on themselves.
