A vessel containing juvenile blue fin tuna was found after the date at which the tuna catching was closed, sea shepherd proceeded to question the captain of the fishing vessel, but he refused to let SSCS view their activities, with knowing that their activities were illegal and after the fishing periods closing sea shepherd proceeded to free the some odd 800 critically endangered blue fin tuna of which most were juveniles. The poachers proceeded to ram the Steve Irwin and attempt to gaff it's crew, unsuccessfully though. The fisherman are claiming they're received injuries, which are unconfirmed and believed a farce. |
